AMP or Accelerated Mobile Pages is a Google’s project that has been initiated to increase the loading speed of any web page or website on the Mobile devices. If you have implemented AMP on your web page as well, and want to check its performance by tracking how many web pages Google has found till date and indexed via Google’s Search Console.
What is a Google Search Console?
Search console is a Google’s free service that allows users to keep a check on their website ranking in Google Search and this includes your Accelerated Mobile Pages as well. The good news for the readers is that you don’t have to actually sign in and create an account in the Search Console if you want to include your Accelerated Mobile Pages in its Search results. But if you do so, you can easily get to know which AMP pages of your website are eligible for the search results.
How to start Search Console?
The first step to creating your search console is to sign in and create a free account to ensure the validity of your website ownership.
Once you are done with the first step, look for search appearances and open the AMP report to see which of your Accelerated Mobile Pages Google is able to find and have indexed on your website
This will display a screen containing the details of the errors like if your website contains 6 pages that have unstructured data, you will be notified of the same. If HTML tags are not used properly, then in such cases also, an error will be shown on the screen. Not only this, you will get a list of pages that has AMP-related issues and due to which those pages are not searched or indexed by the Google’s search console. You need to identify and address those pages.
Search Analytics report generation
You can also use Search Console to check the performance of AMP pages of your website on Google Search through Search Analytics report. This Analytics report gives you an idea of the queries that are restricting your AMP pages to come under the search console. This report displays how different metrics are stacked against other results and the changes that have to happen in the AMP pages search criteria over a period of time.

If you want to check an AMP page metrics, like clicks or impressions,
Go to Search Appearance, then Search Analytics, and last but not the least Filter by AMP.
Please note that Google crawls AMP pages periodically so if you have recently created them, and not seen it in the search results, then either you are requested to wait for some time or you can send a request to Google and schedule a recrawl of your AMP pages.
