But when it comes to single page websites, most of you must be confused because single page websites work differently, and SEO practices are different on it than the normal website. You know how to use H1 tags in traditional SEO, but in single page website, use it in every heading and where the section differs, it will optimize every section.
Link Building
Backlinks and link building is a good thing to do in SEO, if they’re not spammy or bad. People usually think that links are considered to be the factors that degrade ratings, but in fact, if used correctly, they can help in SEO. So you should continue or start earning backlinks, irrespective of what others say, but do it correctly.
Content
In single page websites, common problem may occur, like the content of the website is not readable, because everything so closely packed. Make it a good read and help to optimize it. Google has now changed the algorithm for single page websites and use humming bird one. In which, you don’t have to take tension whether the search will show the results, because it goes for the related sentence, not just one keyword. Freshness factor also plays an important role; your content should be fresh.
You should update it in regular interval of time. Freshness factor is a major tool for Google, in case of governing the content. I need not to mention that besides this, your content should be relevant and original. These things can make you a good search engine optimizer for a single page websites; however, every websites demands unique way to optimize it. You can research more and find out new ways to optimize single page websites. But these are common areas that everyone needs to work on. By this, you can easily cop up with a single paged website and perform an SEO.
