I think we all know head or small and long tail keywords are. But the question arises which one we should use more, why, which of them is more important and can increase your website’s traffic and ranking instantly. Your question is completely legitimate as one can’t just emphasize his focus on both the things, so the answer to this question is that we should focus more on long tail keywords rather than head keywords. Let me tell you why.

Long Tail Keywords Advantages

Targeting Particular Niche

One of the major advantages of long tail keywords is, that they target only particular niche, or we can say that they’re more targeted. By using long tail keywords, you can specify a product and visitor would land directly on the product and eventually end up buying it. So, it is helping you to make more money and your eCommerce is going to rise up. By targeting limited searches, you can get more out of some. These searches can lead high traffic and more products sold out.

Decreasing The Competition

Head keywords have a lot of competition. As everyone goes for what is common and is in trend. By using long tail keywords, your job is done. The traffic would automatically be targeted and you don’t have to do extra work for increasing the revenue and selling the products. As long tail keywords would straightly direct visitors to what they’re looking, you don’t have to do extra efforts like search engine optimization.

Also, there is a considerable amount of increase in your revenue after you have correctly used long tail keywords in every post. When a visitor comes to your website directly, then getting clicks on ads becomes easy, and it will give you extra revenue. Also when visitors get directed to the website, by affiliated market, you can compel them to buy products and can get some part of the product value.

Small keywords need more efforts and somehow, they don’t deliver the kind of money which got used in investing them. Whereas, by long tail keywords, you can make more money than you have spent and trust me, they are of great use. You just have to find out how you can use them. For that you can use Google keyword and other services. They are of great use and you can easily understand and built up better combination of words for keywords, which of course would be unique and easily relatable to search.
